Universities in Bydgoszcz, Gdansk and Lodz invite participants to a nationwide scientific conference: “Critically with Foucault. Anarcheology of education and public space”.

Anarcheology is the concept coined by Foucault in his lectures at Collège de France in 1980. He used the word game of “anarchy”, “archeology” and “genealogy”. Anarcheology is understood here as a characteristic, critical “theoretical-practical attitude” and a “rule” concerning the non-necessity of power and understanding of the orders of knowledge. The concept of anarcheology provides the analysis of truth, power, discourse and subjectivity / identity.

The value of the conference is its interdisciplinary profile and disputable character. It is addressed to teachers, sociologists, psychologists, political scientists, philosophers and representatives of other scientific disciplines. The conference will take place on November 27-28, the applications should be submitted by September 23.
