Prof. Barbara Marcinkowska, new rector of the Academy of Special Education in Warsaw, was elected the chairman of the Conference of Rectors of Pedagogical Universities.

Rectors’ Conferences are voluntary associations of Polish academic universities offering education in various fields (technical, pedagogical, medical, military, artistic, vocational schools, etc.). They inspire and coordinate the cooperation of member universities in order to create an effective education system and the development of higher education.

The Conference of Rectors of Pedagogical Universities brings together Polish universities that provide training for teachers and educators under the current profile of education and as former pedagogical high schools.
