The Ministry of Science and Higher Education and the National Academic Exchange Agency hold the conference “Double diplomas as a pillar of international strategic partnerships”, which will take place on 14-15 June in Łódź, at the International Cooperation Center of the Lodz University of Technology.
Signing double diploma agreements is one of the best tools for establishing advanced partnerships and activities within international university networks. It is also an important pillar for assuring quality of education at universities – emphasizes Prof. Eng. Sławomir Wiak, rector of the Lodz University of Technology.
During the event there will be three ordinary sessions devoted to the legal framework for signing double diploma agreements in Poland within the new Act on Higher Education, administrative aspects and rules for the implementation of such agreements and the challenges faced by students in connection with double diploma agreements. The conference will end with the plenary session “Models of double diploma agreements – how to deal with the diversity of higher education models in the world”.
