The National Agency for Academic Exchange, the Ministry of Education and Science and the University of Warsaw would like to invite participants to the conference ‘European Qualifications Passport for Refugees (EQPR) – experience in Europe, perspectives in Poland’ on 19 September 2022.
The European Qualification Passport for Refugees (EQPR) is a special international tool that enables the verification of refugees’ qualifications despite missing or insufficient documentation of their education.
The solution has proved its worth in countries such as France, Italy and Greece, which have taken in many refugees in recent years. Poland joined the project with the idea of using this instrument to help people who have spent time studying or learning in, for example, Ukraine, but are unable to provide all the educational documents necessary for formal procedures due to the war effort.
During the conference, invited speakers from the Council of Europe will present the methodology developed to confirm qualifications when a refugee does not have the documents proving completion of education.
