The Ignatianum Academy in Krakow invites participants to a scientific conference on October 29 entitled “What is the future of humanities?”. The conference will be attended by Jarosław Gowin – deputy prime minister, minister of science and higher education.
The event will start with an introductory lecture delivered by Deputy Prime Minister Gowin. It will be devoted to the Constitution for Science in the aspect of opportunities and challenges that it brings for the social sciences and humanities.
The Krakow conference is part of the project “Humanities have a future” realized by the Ignatianum Academy as part of the “Dialogue” program. The aim of the project is to improve the image of social and humanistic sciences, highlight the socio-economic importance of the humanities, show it as an attractive career path and popularize the humanities as a science area.
