On April 21, 2022, the Jan Grodek State Higher School in Sanok is organizing the 1st Scientific Conference “Security in border areas – science and practice”.

The aim of the conference is to create and improve a platform for cooperation and exchange of experiences between representatives of the world of science and practitioners, and to trigger a discussion on current problems of Polish security policy in the border region, to identify the most important challenges facing it, as well as providing instruments and tools to effective use of opportunities and combating threats threatening the security of the border.

As part of the conference, the organizers intend to identify threats, diagnose current national legal, administrative and organizational conditions in terms of state security, with particular emphasis on border areas, and examine internal cooperation and cooperation of public administration and entities responsible for shaping security in the state, including border areas.
