On April 10-12, 2018, the AGH UST SPE Student Chapter (AGH University of Science and Technology Society of Petroleum Engineers) will host the 9th Congress of the oil and gas industry “East meets West” organized by the AGH University of Science and Technology.

As part of the event, a competition of papers, posters and European and the quiz competition “PetroBowl” are planned. “East meets West” is the largest student conference in Europe and it gathers hundreds of delegates representing the universities and the companies from around the world. The main idea of the event is to match industry companies with talented students.

AGH UST SPE Student Chapter (the Student Section of the Society of Petroleum Engineers) is operating at the AGH University of Science and Technology and it is the only organization of this type in Poland. The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) is an international organization associating over 100,000 engineers and students associated with the oil industry.
