A consultative meeting of HEIs participating in the Study in Poland programme was held at the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH), organised jointly by the Committee for International Cooperation of the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland (‘KRASP’), the ‘Perspektywy’ Educational Foundation and SGH.
The aim of the meeting was to share knowledge among experts about the state of internationalisation, presented by the main institutions and organisations responsible for internationalisation and having the instruments to implement it, and prospective markets, so that funds for internationalisation in the country can be used in the best possible way.
During the meeting, the founder of the Educational Foundation “Perspektywy” Waldemar Siwiński informed that there are currently more than 100,000 foreign students in Poland. According to the Central Statistical Office (GUS), there are 105,400 foreign students, and according to the POL-on system, there are 102,400 students.
