Poznan University of Technology will continue cooperation within the Santander Universidades project. The agreement on the extension of cooperation was signed by the rector of the university, Prof. Eng. Tomasz Łodygowski and director of Santander Universidades in Poland Wojciech Leśniewski.

Santander Universidades is one of the key social engagement projects of Santander Bank Polska and the Santander Group. This is the largest program supporting higher education financed by a private company in Poland. Over 360,000 scholarships have been funded from the program since 2005.

Poznan University of Technology has been participating in the project since 2012. During this time a number of activities were carried out including scholarships and awards for the best students and doctoral students, trips of students to TrepCamp and Babson College global development projects, grants for student organizations, solar car co-financing and competitions for aspiring entrepreneurs .
