The University of Gdansk will cooperate with the University of Thrace in Burgas, Bulgaria. The agreement between the two academic institutions aims to achieve common goals in education, training, science and research. 

The partners have pledged to support each other and exchange knowledge, enable transparent and effective communication and ensure fair treatment of participants.

“During the visit to Burgas, we had a meeting with representatives of the universities to discuss prospects and directions for cooperation. The scope of joint activities was discussed, goals were set, and the first ideas for joint courses and programmes emerged”, says the head of the International Cooperation Office of the University of Gdansk Magdalena Sawicz.

The establishment of cooperation between the two universities was part of a larger project – the signing of a memorandum of cooperation between Gdańsk and Burgas.
