Representatives of the authorities of Katowice and Silesian universities have signed a cooperation agreement to support Silesian innovation through the Erasmus+ programme, reports the Silesian Medical University (SUM).
The aim of the agreement is to increase awareness of the Erasmus+ programme’s offer among entities operating in various sectors of the economy, to increase innovation through participation in educational projects, to promote and encourage applications for Erasmus+ funds, and to build and expand international cooperation networks, synergies between business and science and education through Erasmus+.
The signatories of the document, in addition to SUM and the City of Katowice, include the University of Silesia, the Silesian University of Technology, the University of Economics in Katowice, the Academy of Physical Education, the Academy of Music and the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice, as well as the Częstochowa University of Technology, the Jan Długosz University of Humanities and Sciences in Częstochowa and the University of Bielsko-Biała.
