Exchange of academic staff, conducting joint research or facilitating the mobility of students and doctoral students – these are some of the possible forms of cooperation between the Opole University of Technology (PO) and the Argentinean National University Tierra del Fuego included in the memorandum signed by the partners.
Others include the implementation of innovative practices, staff training and the joint organisation of scientific conferences. The document also paves the way for further agreements and funding requests for future international cooperation activities and projects.
‘Opole University of Technology is becoming increasingly recognised around the world. Foreign scientists are eagerly choosing our university as a place to conduct their research. We are striving to ensure that not only our academics, but also our students and doctoral students have even more opportunities. Hence the desire to cooperate with a university in Argentina’, informs Dr Aneta Kucińska-Landwójtowicz, Vice-Rector for cooperation with the socio-economic environment.
