Developing cooperation and strengthening university alliances through new projects – these were the leading topics of the visit of the rectoral authorities of the Spanish University of Oviedo to the University of Gdansk (UG). The University of Oviedo is the leader of the Igenium consortium of European universities.

“This is precisely the most important dimension and effect of the initiative of European universities – cooperation and exchange of good experiences. We are very pleased to be able to share with the new European alliance our experience gained during the past cooperation within SEA-EU, in terms of creating an international campus, interdisciplinary education and knowledge transfer”, says UG Vice-Chancellor, University Professor Anna Jurkowska-Zeidler.

The Ingenium consortium was established in 2020 as part of the European University Initiative and brings together universities from 10 countries. Thanks to the initiative of European universities, UG will have the opportunity to expand its existing cooperation with the Spanish university with further projects.
