This year’s Science Picnic is organized by the Copernicus Science Center in Warsaw and Polish Radio under the slogan “Climate and us”. The event will be held online from 8 to 15 May.
“One of the most important challenges for mankind is to minimize the consequences of the climate crisis. During the Science Picnic, we will learn about the scientific facts about the climate and learn about the phenomena responsible for its changes. We do not want to frighten and cause depression. We will show that science and technology can help us adapt to new living conditions and stop the climate from warming up further”- announce the organizers.
This year’s Picnic consists of online events: workshops and meetings, and virtual tents. In the latter, the organizers will create special zones: Future, Health, Cult Experiments, Family, “Do it yourself”, Civilization, Foreign Guests and Organizers.
