The Copernicus Science Center in Warsaw, like many other science institutions, transferred its activities to the Internet launching the #Kopernikwdomu.
In November, the Copernicus Science Center will celebrate 10th anniversary since its establishment. The Center planned to feast it loud and together with partners and guests. Due to a pandemic, the Copernicus Science Center has been closed for weeks. But it is still working and wants to be needed again. One of ideas is to help organize interesting activities at home, suggesting how to do experiments with children.
However, the Copernicus Science Center, which was closed on March 12 needs support. The institution’s budget is largely based on ticket revenues. Subsidies from public funds and sponsor support cover only 46% of costs.
Therefore, the institution is asking to buy virtual tickets to the Copernicus Science Center.
