As part of the “Meeting with a scientist” series, the Copernicus Science Center in Warsaw is inviting participants on 18 June 2019 for a meeting entitled “Exploration of the Moon in the past and today”, whose guest will be Dr Agata Kołodziejczyk – director of scientific projects at the Analog Astronaut Training Center.
Dr Kołodziejczyk is the initiator of the construction of the first in Poland base for simulation Lunares space missions in Piła and the coordinator of the world’s first international scientific analogue moon missions and the first educational moon missions in the world.
During her internship at the European Space Agency she co-organized the monthly workshops “Moon Village”. Scientifically she is involved in the creation of synchronizing biological clocks for spacecraft and spaces isolated from sunlight.
