The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the building materials industry and the current and future situation of the Polish economy were the topics of the conference held on June 29, 2020 at the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Ceramics of Building Materials.

The event was attended by: Jadwiga Emilewicz, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Development; MP Jarosław Gowin, co-founder of the Łukasiewicz Research Network; Tomasz Urynowicz, Deputy Marshal of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship and Prof. Jerzy Lis Rector Elect of the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow.

The organizers emphasized, that it was a meeting of science, industry and industry associations. The purpose was to debate the need to take joint actions to support industry in the coming months to rebuild the potential of the national economy.

During the conference, the Łukasiewicz Research Network and the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow signed an agreement on scientific and research cooperation.
