Critical Research Center on Technologies receives funding under the Horizon 2020 program

An international research consortium, including the Center for Critical Research on Technologies headed by Dr Michał Krzykawski of the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Silesia, will start the implementation of the project entitled “Networking Ecologically Smart Territories – NeST” under the Horizon 2020 program.

The consortium consists of Technological University Dublin, Institut de recherche et d’innovation Center Pompidou, Université Paris Lumières, University of Silesia in Katowice, Universidad de las Artes de Ecuador, University of California, Berkeley and non-academic partners: Dublin City Council, Département de la Seine-Saint-Denis, Factory Full of Life in Dąbrowa Górnicza and Phosphène Disnovation, Consejo de Gobierno de Galápagos.

One of the consortium’s goals is to develop new foundations for theoretical computer science, including the notions of locality, negentropy, anti-entropy, data economy and artificial intelligence.
