Researchers from the National Cybersecurity Laboratory of the Center for Nuclear Research have detected a dangerous gap in the software of one of the commonly used PLC logic controllers, which is used, among others, in nuclear installations. The discovered vulnerability could result in denying access what would lead to loss of connectivity with the controller. The manufacturer has already fixed the gap, recommending necessary corrections to all users.
As part of the participation of the National Center for Nuclear Research in the “Enhancing Computer Security Incident Analysis at Nuclear Facilities” program run by the International Atomic Energy Agency, a specialized CyberLAB laboratory is being created.
