On 20 November 2023, the Cyfronet Open Day will be held at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Krakow. The event will present the latest developments in computer and network architectures, new software technologies and the activities of the Academic Computer Centre (ACK) Cyfronet AGH.

The aim of the Open Day is to provide information on the activities of Cyfronet, as well as on its hardware and software resources and projects in progress, to present the latest directions of development of computer and network architectures, including resources allowing quantum computing, to present the computational capabilities of supercomputers and their application in the analysis of research results, simulation, visualisation and parallel analysis of huge data sets (big data).

The event will also include the final result of the competition for the best doctoral thesis based on the computational resources of ACK Cyfronet AGH and presentations of the winners, as well as consultations, discussions and exchange of information between users and Cyfronet staff.
