Daniel Kopkane from the Czech Republic won the regional stage of the international Falling Walls Lab competition organized by the University of Wrocław. The winner will perform on November 8 during the final conference in Berlin.

Competition participants, young scientists and entrepreneurs, talked about their ideas regarding climate change, obtaining renewable energy and creating modern tools for scientists, businessmen as well as teachers and children.

The idea of Falling Walls Lab is to disseminate information on current research, establish scientific and business cooperation, and expand research horizons. The winners of the regional editions go to the final conference in Berlin, organized under the slogan “Great minds, 3 minutes, 1 day”, where they explain in simple and concise words what about are their projects and what benefits they can bring to the modern world.
