On November 25-26, the University of Warsaw (UW) was holding a conference celebrating the 100th anniversary of the re-establishment of Polish-Danish diplomatic relations. On that occasion, the university was visited by the heir to the throne of Denmark, Prince Frederick and Princess Maria.

Prince Frederick took part in the ceremonial opening of the conference on relations between countries. Inaugurating the conference, University of Warsaw Rector Prof. Marcin Pałys talked about scientific cooperation between the University of Warsaw and Danish universities, also about within the 4EU + Alliance.

-We have great hopes about the 4EU + Alliance, which obtained the status of the European University by the decision of the European Commission in June this year. The alliance connects six research universities from different countries, including the University of Warsaw and the University of Copenhagen, – said the rector.
