The Łukasiewicz Research Network scientific was created in order to make the potential of fragmented institutes available to entrepreneurs. However, they must be ready for financial commitment to the projects – says Piotr Dardziński, president of the Łukasiewicz Research Network.

The President of the Łukasiewicz Network said that there are areas in the field of innovation in which Polish solutions and technologies can be unique.

-It seems to me that we can build large international advantages thanks to gallium nitride. Polish technology can be used in microelectronics. It replaces silicon and creates perspectives to revolutionize transistor designs and radar operations. It is very promising in the context of defense – noted Dardziński.

In his opinion, Poland also has potential in terms of digitization, processing of large databases and the use of artificial intelligence.
