-We want to change the universities and scientists who deal only with didactics – said Piotr Dardziński, Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education in the radio program on “Constitution for Science”.

– Scientists want to take on challenges, invent new technologies. This law is just encouraging students to learn through practice and together with entrepreneurs, – stressed Piotr Dardziński in the program of Radio dla Ciebie and added that thanks to the Constitution the heads of science institutions will also be responsible for the effects of research that should be more breakthrough and affect the socio-economic environment.

The law will come into force on October 1, but that does not mean that universities will have to quickly adapt to all new solutions. The timetable for entering into force is included in the transitional provisions of the new law.
