The Faculty of Political Sciences and International Studies at the University of Warsaw (UW) invites participants on February 14, 2019 to the debate “Union at a crossroads”.
In what state will the Union be after the brexit and euroelections? Will the scenario of a “two-speed Europe” be fulfilled with the strengthened position of France and Germany? Will there be a return to “Europe of Homelands”? How real is the disintegration of the Union?
Konrad Szymański – Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Radosław Sikorski – Minister of National Defense in 2005-2007, Minister of Foreign Affairs in 2007-2014, Prof. Roman Kuźniar – political scientist and diplomat, chairman of the Scientific Council of the Institute of International Relations of the University of Warsaw and Prof. Tomasz Grzegorz Grosse – a political scientist and sociologist, head of the European Union Politics Department at the Institute of European Studies at the University of Warsaw will answer the issues.
