Ministers of the Visegrad Group countries (Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia) signed a declaration in Budapest on economic cooperation in the areas of competitiveness, innovation and digital transformation.
The declaration assumes the use of shared data resources in a modern approach to conducting research and development works, and the implementation of the idea of “Industry 4.0”. The countries of the Visegrad Group would also like to include startups in the technological modernization process and deepen the work on cybersecurity and modernizing Internet technologies.
– We are observing what the more advanced economies are doing and we are participating in the EU initiative “Digitization of the European Industry”. We are building the Platform for the Future Industry, which will stimulate industrial transformation – said Marcin Ociepa, deputy minister of entrepreneurship and technology, who signed the Budapest Declaration on behalf of Poland.
