On May 22, 2019, the Jagiellonian University (UJ) in Krakow was visited by a delegation from the Chinese province of Henan. The purpose of the meeting was to talk about the cooperation between the Jagiellonian University and Chinese universities, enterprises and cultural institutions.

Cooperation of the Jagiellonian University with institutions from the Henan province will include joint activities in the field of education and entrepreneurship. In the coming days, Polish and Chinese parties will determine the scope of this cooperation, its timeframe and they will sign the agreement.

The contacts with the Chinese side were possible thanks to the Confucius Institute – Center of Chinese Language and Culture at the Jagiellonian University, which gained the status of a model institute last week.
