A delegation from the Kraków University of Technology (PK) headed by Rector Professor Andrzej Szarata visited four Chinese universities in July. The subject of the talks was current cooperation and new forms of scientific and teaching cooperation.

With the University of Tianjin, PK runs joint courses in architecture and landscape architecture as part of the International School of Engineering. During the visit, the possibility of extending cooperation to include new scientific disciplines (e.g. materials engineering) and new levels of education (also as part of the PK Doctoral School) was discussed.

The Technical University is linked with Tiangong University and Guangdong University of Technology by cooperation agreements, e.g. on student exchange. 

At Wuhan University of Technology, joint research and teaching initiatives in the fields of materials engineering, chemical engineering and civil engineering were discussed.
