On August 2-3, 2020, a delegation from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education headed by Minister Wojciech Murdzek has visited Lithuania. Its aim is to deepen Polish-Lithuanian cooperation in the field of research, science and academic mobility.

Minister Wojciech Murdzek met Algirdas Monkevičius, Minister of Education, Science and Sports of the Republic of Lithuania. Both ministers signed an agreement on the mutual recognition of documents entitling to undertake studies and the recognition of periods of study, professional titles and academic titles in the arts.

This agreement will facilitate academic mobility between the two countries and contribute to strengthening cooperation in the field of higher education and science.

Delegations of both ministries also discussed the European University Networks initiative as an important element in the development of Polish and European higher education.
