The Department of Physiology at the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the Silesian Medical University in Katowice, represented by the employees of the Visual Neuroscience experimental ophthalmology laboratory, joined the prestigious international project “World Wide Neuro”, initiated by the University of Oxford.

The aim of the project is to create a globally available platform for scientific seminars in the field of neuroscience. Researchers from Visual Neuroscience will organize a series of “neuroEYEscience” seminars in the field of the latest research on retina and optic nerve, especially on the topics of neuroprotection, neuroregeneration, the application of the latest scientific discoveries in clinical medicine and the latest trends in clinical neuro-ophthalmology.

Lecturers of “neuroEYEscience” program will be the most outstanding scientists in this field working at universities around the world.
