The Department of Public Health and Social Medicine of the Medical University of Gdańsk has gained a new look. Its new seat provides friendly rooms for students and employees. The investment of PLN 1.5 million was financed from the university budget.
The department is equipped with modern seminar and conference rooms. The Student Lab has also been designed there. It is a room dedicated to students, where they can develop innovative scientific and social projects. The room is equipped with office furniture, access to the eduroam network and full-text databases as well as the latest books in the field of public health.
The social facilities were also taken care of so that the students could eat and rest in comfortable conditions. The design of tutoring room was inspired by personalized education methods, especially Oxford tutoring and the master-student relationship. It is a space where enthusiasts of science and development will meet to develop students’ talents.
