The Office of the Prime Minister hold a press conference devoted to the “Polish Returns” program. In addition to Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Science and Higher Education Jarosław Gowin, the director of the National Academic Exchange Agency (NAWA), Łukasz Wojdyga and Dr Łukasz Bratasz, a scientist returning from Yale University participated in the conference.
– We must create conditions for as many scientists as possible who emigrated to the best universities around the world, and who would like to come back to Poland, to have the right conditions to conduct world-class research and have the conditions to educate their successors, our future intellectual and scientific elites – said Jarosław Gowin.
Within the program “Polish Returns” run by NAWA, 22 Polish scientists will return to Poland. One of them is Dr Łukasz Bratasz, who states that the research on national heritage is conducted in Poland on a global level and Poland can boldly compete with the best research centers in the world. The amount of 40 million PLN was allocated to the Polish Returns program.
