– In this term, we reformed the universities. In the future, we need to reform the institution, where the great potential is accumulated, i.e. the Polish Academy of Sciences – said on July 15, 2019 Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Science and Higher Education Jarosław Gowin.

He also drew attention to the need to improve the efficiency of the use of funds from the European Union by scientists.

– We have been paying extra to the EU science budget so we are looking forward for the results. Recently, Polish scholars have received three grants in a prestigious competition. We have potential. The Ministry will support scientists in applying for these grants – assured the head of the Ministry of Science.
