Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Science and Higher Education Jarosław Gowin will allocate PLN 25 million for research of the Małopolska Center of Biotechnology of the Jagiellonian University (UJ) in Krakow. The money will help deal with coronavirus.
Deputy Prime Minister Gowin stressed that the money for the Małopolska Center of Biotechnology of the Jagiellonian University will help create a vaccine against coronavirus.
-Although we are aware of the fact that many countries that were previously affected by this epidemic, continue to work on it – added the head of the Ministry of Science.
As deputy prime minister noted, there is a chance for long-term Polish virus research. After all, this is not the first appearance of a coronavirus. It should be taken into account that in the future this epidemic may come back in various mutated forms – added Gowin.
