Jarosław Gowin, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Science and Higher Education, visited the Lodz University of Technology. He summed up the cooperation of his ministry with the university for last four years. Its biggest effect for the Lodz university is Alchemium, i.e. the building of the Faculty of Chemistry currently under construction.

The Lodz University of Technology is one of the most dynamically developing universities in Poland – said Jarosław Gowin.
The construction of Alchemium began in 2018, and Jarosław Gowin was present at the ceremony of laying the symbolic cornerstone in the foundations of the building in May 2019.

The first stage of construction is to be completed by August 2020. By this date, a conference and didactic center for 500 people will be created to host the most important university celebrations. The second spart, i.e. the didactic building for students and chemists will be erected in 2021-2024.
