“We have adopted an extremely ambitious development strategy, inspired by the maxim ad augusta per angusta – ‘to great achievements through difficulties’. We are aware that despite the obstacles and risks, the Agency should be guided by clearly defined priorities. The NAWA team is prepared to take on these challenges with passion, determination and commitment,” writes NAWA Director-General Dr Dawid Kostecki in his foreword to the National Academic Exchange Agency (NAWA) Development Strategy 2024-2030.
NAWA has adopted 5 strategic objectives to be implemented between 2024 and 2030 including: Supporting the internationalisation of science and higher education, Popularising the Polish language and culture abroad, Strengthening the presence of Polish science and higher education on the international arena, Facilitating the international transfer of knowledge and skills to science and the economy, Institutional development of the Agency.
“We adapt our activities to the global and local challenges of the academic world so that they respond to the needs of students, doctoral students and employees of the institutions forming the system of science and higher education and effectively support their mobility and international cooperation”, says the document.
