The University of Life Sciences in Lublin since the academic year 2019/2020 has launched seven new fields of study. The Diary products study is a response to the needs of the local industry.

In the dairy sector, education will be carried out in close cooperation with regional dairy cooperatives from the Lublin region.

During the conversation with the rector, I mentioned one of the problems of our industry – the problem of generation gap. It’s about the lack of professionals in the dairy industry. Specialists are aging, retiring, and their places are not occupied by young people, because there is nobody to educate them – said Tadeusz Badach, President of the Regional Dairy Cooperative in Krasnystaw.

The Dairy course will start in October 2019. At the beginning, the Lublin University will educate about 30 future specialists in the dairy industry.
