The Doctoral School of the University of Life Sciences in Wrocław has gained over PLN 2 million from the STER program of the National Agency for Academic Exchange for the internationalization of doctoral schools.
The budget has a separate fund for trips abroad in the form of short-term internships (from one to three months) and visits of the Doctoral School students- both at universities and in science and research centers, laboratories and clinics. The money is to be spent by the end of 2024.
The assumption is simple: the best students going abroad will build their own network of contacts and be visiting card of the higher school where they work on their doctorates and research projects. This part of the budget will also finance promoters’ trips – as they are responsible for proposing to candidates the most current topics of doctoral dissertations carried out as part of international interdisciplinary cooperation at the highest level, including projects with external financing.
