The Małopolska Province Governor Piotr Ćwik appointed Dr Monika Bogdanowska from the Department of Painting and Sculpture of the Krakow University of Technology for the position of the Małopolska Voivodship Monument Conservator.

Dr Monika Bogdanowska is a conservator of works of art professionally. She was awarded with her PhD at the Faculty of Architecture of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and the received postdoctoral degree at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow in the field of plastic arts, discipline: conservation and restoration of works of art. She is particularly interested in the history of Krakow at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, and recently also in modernism.
