Dr Eng Cezary Możeński, a long-time director of the Institute of New Chemical Syntheses, was honored with the medal of Ignacy Mościcki for outstanding achievements in the field of chemical technology, constituting the basis for industrial implementations of innovative products and chemical processes – informs Anna Tyńska from the Research Support Unit at the Institute of New Chemical Syntheses in Puławy.

Dr Eng Możeński is a recognized specialist in the fertilizing industry and an authority in the technology of synthetic ammonia production. He has developed 49 innovative technological solutions in the form of licenses and he implemented them in industry in all plants of the Great Chemical Synthesis sector in Poland and abroad.

He is a member of the Chemical and Process Engineering Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Main Council of Science and Higher Education.
