Dr Eng. Adam Okniński, head of the Space Technology Department in the Łukasiewicz Research Network – Institute of Aviation in Warsaw, has won the European part of prestigious Forbes “30 under 30” competition in the Manufacturing & Industry category.
Forbes “30 under 30” is a list of 30 leaders under the age of 30 selected in 10 categories who have a significant impact on changes in such areas as technology, industry, science, business or society.
-Although the award was granted individually, the jury of the competition appreciated the achievements of our entire team. We treat this as confirmation that our technological niche solutions for innovative space propulsion are the right choice for further development – says Adam Okniński.
The team led by Adam Okniński is implementing the ILR-33 AMBER suborbital rocket project (currently in 2K version), which is the first structure in the world to demonstrate the use of hydrogen peroxide with a concentration above 98% in flight.
