Dr Paulina Piasecka, Director of the Centre for Research on Terrorism at Collegium Civitas in Warsaw, has been selected to be a member of the Radicalisation Awareness Network Policy Support (RAN PS), the European Research Community on Radicalisation (ERCOR) Researchers’ Directory, which is funded by the European Commission.
The Radicalisation Awareness Network (RAN Practitioners) brings together practitioners from across Europe who share knowledge, experience and approaches to preventing and countering violent extremism in all its forms.
Dr Piasecka will support the European Union’s policy-making in the field of preventing and countering radicalisation and, as a member of ERCOR, will be able to participate in a number of events, such as thematic working groups that bring together leading European researchers and practitioners working on radicalisation and countering extremism.
