Economic universities from Warsaw and Wroclaw to start the joint scientific research

On September 30, 2019, the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) in Warsaw and the University of Economics in Wrocław (UEW) will launch a new joint research program. Both economic universities are organizing a joint grant competition.

Rector of SGH Prof. Marek Rocki and the rector of UEW Prof. Andrzej Kaleta signed a framework agreement and declared their will to cooperate in conducting joint scientific research. The purpose of cooperation is to enrich knowledge in one or several scientific disciplines, the scientific development of employed academic teachers and to take future actions aimed at implementing research projects financed from external sources.

To apply for a grant, a scientific team must be set up to conduct joint research of at least four, but not more than ten academic teachers employed at SGH and UEW, with the participation of employees of one university not less than 40 %. The scientists can receive a grant of up to 24,000 PLN for the implementation of one research project PLN gross.
