Prof. Jacek Pyżalski from the Faculty of Educational Studies of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań wrote a publication “Education during the COVID-19 virus pandemic. With reservation to currently doings of teachers”.
The book addresses many important issues, including teacher-student relationships, peer relationships, and selection of meaningful remote education tools. The textbook was created in a flash and is a response of the academic community to educational needs in times of pandemic.
– I thought that this type of study is urgently needed in Poland. Polish teachers need a kind of basic common thought that will allow them to look at what they are currently doing as teachers from a distance. What is important and what is just a less important detail? What to focus what can be missed? – says Prof. Pyżalski.
