Electric cars and charging stations will be available on the campuses of the University of Silesia. It will be possible thanks to the cooperation of the university with the company GreenGoo Ltd, a local car-sharing operator and the owner of electric car charging station.

The company will install charging stations in Katowice, Sosnowiec, Chorzów and Cieszyn, and will provide several dozen electric cars on a car-sharing basis for the academic community, residents and tourists. Users will be able to drive the vehicles by renting them for minutes using the mobile application.

The charging station for electric vehicles is already commissioned on the premises of the Chorzów campus. In the near future, investments will be completed in subsequent locations.
