Until October 27, students can apply for the Silesian part of the Three Minute Thesis (3MT) – an international competition in science communication. The assumptions of the competition include scientific topics, great stories and … only three minutes to present them.

3MT is a competition for participants-doctoral students to present issues of their doctoral dissertation to the audience and the jury. They have three minutes to speak and interest the audience with their performance. Participation in the competition is an opportunity to popularize science, present their ideas, develop communication and media competences as well as win attractive prizes.

Applications for the competition should be sent via the registration form. The Silesian competition is open to doctoral students of universities of the Silesian Voivodeship or the Silesian branches of the Polish Academy of Sciences. The event is addressed to PhD students of all disciplines.
