English language management, economics, spatial management, mechatronics and production management and engineering – these are the most popular fields of study at the Gdańsk University of Technology in application process for the academic year 2019/2020.

A total of 26663 candidates (including 25324 for first cycle studies) applied for full-time studies, of whom 4305 people were accepted, including 3740 people for first cycle studies. The highest number of applications per one place was recorded in the field of management in English (18.3 persons per place) and economics (17.7 persons per place) at the faculty of management and economics.

Almost 15 people (14.9 persons per place) applied for a place in the field of spatial management at the faculty of architecture and in the field of mechatronics (14.5 people per place) at the faculty of mechanical engineering. The top five most popular fields also include production management and engineering (13 people per place) at the faculty of mechanical engineering.
