The Center of Excellence Ensemble3 was inaugurated at the Center of New Technologies of the University of Warsaw. It will conduct research on crystal growth technology and applied materials in medicine, nanophotonics and optoelectronics.
The launch of the Ensemble3 Center of Excellence is one of the most important initiatives in developing the Polish research landscape – said the Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education Prof. Grzegorz Wrochna during the conference inaugurating the institution’s work.
The project is implemented by the Łukasiewicz Research Network, the Institute of Electronic Materials Technology and the University of Warsaw with the support of the National Center for Research and Development. Important European research centers, including the Sapienza University of Rome (Italy), the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (Germany) and the Cooperative Research Center NanoGUNE Consolider (Spain), also play a key role in the project consortium.
