The Faculty of Social Sciences, the Institute of Pedagogy of the University of Gdańsk, the Foundation for the Development of Gdańsk University and the European Research Network About Parents in Education (ERNAPE) are inviting to the 12th international ERNAPE conference “Parent Engagement as Power: Empowering Children, Schools and Societies” from 18 to 20 September.

The aim of the conference is to exchange the experiences of researchers who combine their scientific interests with parents and their multidimensional understanding of “being in education” (including their own formation experiences, participation in the education of their own children and the life of the schools they attend, cooperation of parents with schools and other educational institutions).

The conference is a meeting of the ERNAPE research network, which brings together researchers related to the subject of school, family and local community cooperation from Europe and beyond. The three-day meeting will be an opportunity to present the latest research, exchange experiences and establish scientific cooperation.
