Kozminski University (ALK) in Warsaw has become the leader of one of the projects under the EU Horizon Europe programme and has won a grant for a three-year research activity in the field of social sciences.
ALK will host a three-year, in-house Link4Skills project on the global flow of talent and skills between third countries and the EU, which will be led by Prof Izabela Grabowska from ALK, together with a team from the Centre for Research on Social Change and Mobility (CRASH). The ALK-led consortium, which includes thirteen universities and institutions from around the world, has been awarded a grant of €3 million.
As ALK points out, as part of the Link4Skills project, researchers will identify existing and future ‘required skills’. They will look at the path the European Union should take in responding to current and upcoming skills shortages. They will also examine how to source key competencies using existing human resources, modern technologies and other markets.
